Howdy Dancers,

Kalispell International Folk Dancing resumes Saturday July 2 (tonight) from 8 to 10 p.m. at the usual
venue, the Salvation Army gym, 110 Bountiful Drive. Come and kick off the Fourth of July weekend
with a bang, or at least a few good stomps.

Thanks to everyone who made it to the annual Stamp & Camp last weekend and brought all the good
company, delicious food and enjoyable dancing. It was great fun, the weather was perfect, and it went
too quickly. I forgot to pick up the playlists but will send them out next week.

The Montana Folk Festival is next weekend in Butte. Cecelia, Eva & Max are again organizing an
international dance session on Saturday, July 9, from 9 to around 11 a.m. at St. John's Episcopal
Church, 15 North Idaho Street. Cecelia is asking for requests and wants to know when folks are
expecting to arrive so that their requests can be played while they are actually there. She's thinking
about doing more intricate dances starting at 9 a.m. (after a bit of warm-up) and easier ones around
10 a.m. Music will be programmed in advance, so let her know your requests ahead of time. Send
them to cecelia AT notess DOT com
To reach St. John's from I-90, take Montana St exit. Go north.
After Park St., turn left (west) onto Broadway. Go 1 block.
Church is across from library. Use Broadway entrance.
This has been a good location to park for the folk festival in the past, and the dancing gets you there
early to claim a good spot. The folk festival starts at noon, and the klezmer group will be not far away
at the Granite stage. See you all in Butte!
