Hello Dancers,

        Kalispell International Folk Dancers have been asked to give a short dance demonstration for residents of the
        Immanuel Lutheran Home this Saturday prior to our regular weekly dance session. For those interested,
        the plan is to meet at our regular venue, the Salvation Army gym, at 6 p.m., and walk next door to ILH for a
        brief program. Dances will be several that we have been doing recently. Probably we will do four or five from the
        following list: Klezmer, Ma Navu, Shibolet Basadeh, Chilili, Mayim, Postie's Jig, Jove Malaj Mome,
        Zemer Atik and Ya da kalinushku lomala. Ruth suggests that the ladies wear skirts and the gents wear
        dark pants and white shirts. She will have a couple of skirts on hand prior to the demo, in case someone
        needs one. Kathy B. has made arrangements with ILH for the sound system.

        Our regular weekly dance will follow starting at 7 p.m. at the Salvation Army gym, 110 Bountiful Drive.
        We will be celebrating Russ's birthday!

        The next Contra Dance will be next Saturday, Dec. 10, from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m., at Northridge Lutheran Church,
        323 Northridge Ave. It's also the 3rd Annual Silent Auction. Support your local contra dance organization by
        shopping/donating at the Auction!

        We're still working on a possible shift of international dancing to Friday nights. We all know it's tough to find
        good dance venues with wooden floors in Kalispell that are available for budget prices. With that in mind,
        Kathy B. has come up with some interesting possible venues that we should talk about on Saturday.
