Hello Dancers,

Come celebrate the end of the world with a lively night of dancing! What better way? We move to
summer hours starting this week. We will dance Saturdays from 8 to 10 p.m. through the summer
(assuming the world really doesn't end), to let everyone take advantage of the longer summer
daylight hours for all those other activities. We will continue with weekly dancing, since our
arrangement to rent the Salvation Army gym is based on our continued regular use of the facility.
Dances are at the Salvation Army gym, 110 Bountiful Drive (a block east of Hwy 93 and a block
south of the hospital and hospice). A donation of $3 is requested to pay the rent.

Happy birthday week to Larissa and to Dyson! Connie advises that Larissa can't dance with us this
week, but we hope she has a great birthday anyway.

Stamp and Camp will be the weekend of June 25-26. We will dance Saturday afternoon and evening
at the Salvation Army gym, then gather again at Russ & Missy's home near Whitefish for Sunday
breakfast and dancing in the famous Chicken House. Details will follow.

Next weekend is Memorial Day weekend, and that means the 40th annual Northwest Folklife
Festival in Seattle. It's a great event, if you can find a way to go. Check it out:

The Flathead Valley's annual Hawaiian dance program, HULA HO`IKE 2011 NE`E PAPA,
presented by Halau Ka Waikahe Lani Malie of Kalispell, is scheduled for Saturday, June 11,
from 7 to 9 p.m. at the O'Shaughnessy Cultural Arts Center in Whitefish. Make a note of it.
Because a number of our international dancers are also involved in this program, it is likely
that international dancing will be cancelled that date. For more information,
call 406-755-4434 or 860-921-6936, or visit:
