Camp and Stamp 2015
Welcome to the Kalispell International Folk Dancers’ 11th annual Stamp and Camp. Thanks again to Russ and Missy for launching the event and keeping it going all this time. This year we experienced a record breaking heat wave!! Here was the schedule:
Saturday afternoon: International dancing began at 1pm, in the very warm Salvation Army gym. We broke around 4:15 or so, to allow time for those who were camping or staying in motels to set up for the night and cool down.
Saturday evening: Potluck dinner at 6 pm. Max and Eva's. Great hosts for our dinner at their home. Turkey, Ham, salads, Rose's hand made dolmas from their very own grape leaves; and Sharon's delicious rhubarb pie, topped of with vanilla ice cream.
Directions to the Salvation Army Community Center
Saturday night dance party: We returned to the gym about 7:30 and danced until 10pm. Kudos to Eva for thinking ahead. She made about 20 frozen towels, shaped in a circle. Here we were taking a break on the back porch of the Salvation Army, with Eva's cooling system on most everyone.
Our wonderful fans that moved the hot air around us.

Last year,
Sally thought each of us could bring a little wind up chicken to the next Camp n Stamp, so the little chicken in the picture will have a dance group/flock to dance with, but that didn't work out to much. I did bring a little wind up chicken, so some of the dream came true. ☺
