Hello Dancers,

Kalispell International Dance will be cancelled this Saturday in deference
to the annual Hawaiian dance event scheduled this year at the Northridge
Lutheran Church. Several of our dancers also take part in the Hawaiian
dance school. The school has extended an invitation to our entire dance
community to attend this event and join in the potluck dinner that will
follow. The dance program begins at 5 p.m. and will last about an hour.
If you plan to stay for the potluck, please bring a food or dessert dish
to share with others. The announcement for the Hawaiian program:

Next weekend, June 16-17, is the annual Stamp & Camp weekend international
folk dance gathering in the Flathead Valley. The format is similar to past
years. Dancing begins around noon on Saturday at the Salvation Army Community
Center, 110 Bountiful Drive, Kalispell. We typically take a break in late
afternoon to allow campers to set up and to prepare for a potluck dinner in
the center's dining room. We reconvene in the evening for a dance party.
Russ & Missy Conn offer free camping at their home near Whitefish. Sunday
morning includes an informal breakfast at their home, followed by a closing
dance session in the fabled Chicken House. Should be a good weekend! It's
been chilly and rainy in the Flathead, but the long range forecast predicts
        better weather by then.
