Our regular Kalispell International Folk Dancing Saturday, Dec. 6, from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Salvation Army Community Center, 110 Bountiful Drive. We’ve been working quite a bit on Mascatii (traditionally danced only at Christmas season) and on Female Saylor, so that several of our dancers who are also singers could perform it at the holiday party for the Crown of the Continent Choir.

Reminder: For those who can use a winter weekend dance get-away, Sally Jenkins now has the schedule for the Veselo Festival in Eugene, OR, Jan. 31-Feb. 1, featuring Yuliyan Yordanov teaching Bulgarian dance. Location: Veteran's Memorial Building, 1626 Willamette St, Eugene. Weekend package: $50 (or $35 for seniors.)
