Hi Everyone,
After a week of rain, today was a a gloriously sunny beautiful day! Grass is lush and green and all the trees are leafing out. We still have snow on the mountains, and the rivers are at flood stage.
Starting next week, we will start at 8pm, until late summer.
Like last week, I got there a bit early to practice. By time I got to Gaida, it was 7:35 and no one else was there! Just as Gaida was ending, in walked Don, Rose, and Jackie; and a little later Connie. Most of the dances after Gaida were requests from Don. We didn't remember Balta Dreapta, which we learned from Edwidge Munn in Calgary in 2002.
The last dance Mana vu, was done to guitar music by Alec Stone Sweet. I heard it on Pandora, so I bought his CD.
Happy Mother's Day!
