Kalispell International Folk Dancers

Hi Everyone,

Coronaviruses are a group of related viruses that cause diseases in mammals and birds. In humans, coronaviruses cause respiratory tract infections that are typically mild, such as some cases of the common cold, though rarer forms can be lethal, such as SARS, MERS, and COVID-19

The World Health Organization (WHO) on March 11 declared COVID-19 a pandemic, pointing to the over 118,000 cases of the coronavirus illness in over 110 countries and territories around the world ...

Yes, we are dancing. We wash our hands: 1. Wet hands with clean running water, 2. Lather soap on hands, including under nails, between fingers and the backs of hands, 3. Scrub at least 20 seconds, or roughly twice the length of the “Happy Birthday” song, 4. Rinse hands, 5. Dry them with an air dryer or clean towel

Restrictions on assemblies of large groups of people - cancellations of sporting events like March Madness; are sweeping our country aimed at avoiding large influxes to the healthcare system that would overwhelm them.

Reported illnesses have ranged from mild symptoms to severe illness and death for confirmed Corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases.
The following symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure.*
Fever
Cough
Shortness of breath
*This is based on what has been seen previously as the incubation period of MERS-CoV viruses.

To self-isolate, you should stay home — in your room, your apartment, or your house. Do not go to work, classes, athletic events, or other social gatherings for 14 days."

The Stock Market has fallen from record high of 29,186 on February 20th down to 21,204 as of March 13th. The Dow Jones is down 10.53% for the year.

And now for something completely different... :-)

Today is Pi day. Connie brought a Cost Co Cherry Pie.

My wife Sharon dropped by after their Hula Class with her two hula sisters and teachers, and danced, "Beautiful Kaua`i," a Hula that she and other members of the Kalispell Hula school learned today.

Eva and Max taught Haymakers Jig
