Camp and Stamp 2025
Hi Everyone,
Welcome to the 17th Stamp and Camp.
Thanks for everyone pivoting to find a replacement Sunday venue! Sharon and I were in not great shape to be hosting this event at our house! Thanks to Don and Rose stepping up to arrange to dance at the Bear Dance Clubhouse on MT 35 near Bigfork! Thank You!!
Sweden was quite the adventure! We were in a little village where they set up their Maypole and then danced around it on Midsummer, which is like our 4th of July and Thanksgiving rolled into one. It was fun to watch!
Dances June 28, Saturday afternoon

It was pretty warm outside, so Sue brought in their dog Bo, to get out of the heat. :-)

P.S.
It was an unfortunate occurrence for us to get a bad bug somewhere in an airline terminal or on one of the plane flights. We made the best of our trip, but our energy level was low. Saw amazing things and witnessed a Midsummer festival in a little area, Vikarbyn, that has two towns side by side, where all the families were called to: "Join us and dress up as Maypoles Vastibin and Ostibin" (those are the names of the two towns.) "dance games around the pole, parade through the village to the village hall with continued celebration."
We watched them put up the huge pole, quite the long process! Then watched them dance to the band of local musicians. :-)
