Hi everyone,
It is Easter, and we are all in this thing together. I miss the comradery and the social interaction of our International folk dance group, as well as the dances we do too. I will put on my play list of the dances I know, that include the dances I don’t know, (or forgotten :-) and listen to them and dance the dance in my head while doing yard work or working on a project.
Barbara, my 92-year-old mother-in-law, has come to live with Sharon and I during this COVID-19 time, and on Saturday at 7pm we watch the Lawrence Welk show! Last night we started watching Star Wars in Chronological order, which Barbara likes. :-)
I wish to thank each and everyone of you in our folk dance community, especially Eva, Max, Don, Amanda, and Cecelia, for emailing thoughts, ideas and website links.
Sunday, April 12 – “Come Dance with Laguna Dancers on Zoom” with Lee Otterholt. He will do some dance teaching and some reviews. I hope they have followed the steps to protect from Zoom-bombing, See the website: https://daleadamson.com/ for this event as well as others.
