Kalispell International Folk Dancers

Hi Everyone,

No danceing tonight

Roger and Sharon went to Missoula to watch grand kid in the Montana Children's Theater's production of Finding Nemo.

Many went to see Missy sing with the Glacier Chorale in Concert, at the Wachholz College Center!
Excerpt from Glacier Symphony Orchestra and Chorale:
Themed around desire and joy. Dr. Micah Hunter, Chorale Director, shared his excitement about the evening: “I am excited to premiere my arrangement of Over the Sea to Skye as part of our Celtic folk song set. Our biggest challenge has been a piece called Owls by Vijay Singh of Central Washington University. Probably our greatest triumph in terms of expressivity and artistry right now is How Lovely is Thy Dwelling Place from Brahms’ A German Requiem. I think the choir has grown the most through our preparation of Eric Whitacre’s A Boy and a Girl, which we have performed before, but which I think is verging on the best I’ve ever heard from us yet. My most central belief about joy is that it is fundamentally rooted in desire. This program has been chosen with the theme of desire in mind, and my hope is that in expressing those different framings of desire with many voices as one, we will create an experience of joy together.”

Only Max, Eva and Diane were ready to dance, so they decided to call it a night.
